Barcelona midfielder Pedri has revealed that his contract extension with the club is going well.

Deco, the club’s football director, said this week that Pedri “wants to make history” at Barcelona and the club are planning to renew his current deal, which expires in 2026. Pedri has

now revealed that his agent is working on a new deal and that he is very calm about the situation.

“I am very calm about this. My agent will take care of it. There is no news but everything is fine,” he said at a news conference. The

Spain international also spoke about how he has managed to stay injury-free and return to full form this season.

“There are still many games and you have to take care of your body. You have to look for solutions until you find your secret.

Pedri explained that he feels he has found a fitness routine that suits him though.

Meanwhile he is currently in talks with Barcelona over a new deal, with his current contract up in 2026.
